About Paid Facebook Likes

Hi, lately I've seen websites to buy fb likes such as: http://www.quickonlinetips.com/archives/2010/09/buy-facebook-fans-friends-likes/

    This makes me wonder...

    How do these sites work?
    • a) They create lots of fb accounts with scripts/software and they automatize the likes in seconds
    • b) They own great communities (like fb contest groups, forums....) and they require members to like a page
    • c) One or more people stay doing likes manually working like a slave
    • d) Other (please, tell)

and in case of a) can Facebook limit the fast automated accounts creation (i.e. captcha, I.P. block, ban, delete account, etc...) ?

And finally, do Facebook and Google like all these massive like practices? Isn't it against Google's quality guidelines?

Those method will only add garbage fans to a page and this means no value to any business. Trying to find the true active user and quality fans would worth the dollar you spend.

No harm in asking the company in question what their method is. If they don't tell you, it's either blackhat or stupidly simple.

Good point, I think they just sent lots of invitations and they see if they reached at least what you paid for...

I prefer to pay for a reasonable 200 likes in fiverr to put the typical facebook box with faces in my site...

WIth all this, none seems to answer to my questions :)

True! There's a good chance it is a simple but time consuming process.

I think they are using a bot to have massive likes. They are bundled with either hacked fb accounts or dummy fb accounts.

What good are fake accounts? They will just be zombies and won't recruit themselves.

Agreed, fake likes are pointless to be honest, and are only good for those with an ego ;)

there are 1000 way to rome ..

    - maybe company use zombie account
    - maybe company do manual

but, as my experience, usually company that selling "fb likes" now are from "like clickjacking website",
it is a website that wherever you click on pages, it is auto "likes" (ONLY if you login on facebook) on target URL (client site),

so, it is not zombie fb acc, it is real person, active ..

but, (always have BUT  ), usually "like clikjacking website" are pr0n or something like that, makes your "fans" not worthed much,

but, again, there are company that offer targeted "fans", which you can choose language, location, gender etc, which more expensive ..

    hope helps ;)

All likes are genuine, they pay people that live in countries like China, Indonesia, etc... aprox $0.01 each like. So they get 100 likes for $1 And charge you idk $10 or something... I know plenty of sources where you can pay people dirt cheap for likes...

It works to give a good impression to visitors when they see a box with lots of people who liked your site, follow your site (twitter) or clicked google plus button

I paid 15 usd and got about 250 fb likes, 1000 followers and 150 google plus,
users will think my site is cool or smth but will fb, twitter and google like this? do they penalize this already or will they do it?

    thanksss

Sooner or later this method will be flagged. As you know, the IM requires web masters to get 'quality' traffic, not 'quantitative' traffic.

It really depends on the methods used and if they are real fans or not to be honest, for $15 I would assume not.

I do not recommend this type of system, since almost all these sites are what you get "garbage" do not waste your money
