    i am fresher in SEO. i am working for basic submission works. I want to know, how to increse the Page rank and give the basic and brief information about page rank

    To build Pagerank there is only one method... backlinks. In theory, the more "quality" backlinks you have the faster your Pagerank will increase. SEO wise you should be worried about SERPs instead of Pagerank.

    By getting quality (from page ranked sites) backlinks, u can increase the pagerank. But, the sites should be relevant to ur site.

    Let me tell do if you are increasing your page rank for getting good visibility in google then its useless but for link exchange its very good to have page rank.

    First thing to do is quality and very very unique content itself increase page rank gradually
    Second thing after quality content submit it in various social bookmarking and promoting sites

    Finally submit it via anchor text in various forum signature, blogs, etc
