"About me widget" in elegant themes?

Discussion in 'WordPress' started by MarketingRadiation, Apr 7, 2011.

I liked a few elegant themes for a new blog. They have a built in widget which says "about me". Which has text fields to enter "Title, image, info". I am not entirely sure about how to insert an image there.

    1.There is no browse button.
2.I tried placing html but didnt work.
3.I tried putting just the name of the image like "my-image.jpg" which is already uploaded through media but didnt work.
    4. Tried putting in the direct URL but didnt work.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks.

which theme are you using? all the themes i've used have a place for title, image, and text. you just place your img url in the "Image:" text field.

All you have to do is upload the image somewhere and paste the URL to the image in the text box provided. The image will automatically show up.

    cheers
