about me, and my first wall of text here

not the best at the introductions or present myself posts but il give it a short try.
tried the standard 9 to 5 job and just dident work for me at all, would get maybe a hours work done and spend the rest looking at the watch.
then as finaly getting home spend to many hours a day on world of warcraft, after a while i took notice of the frequent bots in the game and the lack of action against it.
after some googling i bought a bot for easy gold and would instead spend my days at the office wondering what items it would have for me as i got home.
another month passed and i no longer spent my time playing the game, but tweaking the bot for more gold and yet more gold.
as the game grew in popularity so did the people wanting to make money from it and goldsites popped out from evry rock, advertising what i then considered moronic offers of 1000gold for 50$.
i laughed for weeks about why on earth they thought people would pay 50$ for what u could get in 2 nights, only to get suprised by people discussing how cheap it was and what sites was best.
not many days after i sold my first 3000 gold for 150$ and felt the greed growing, almost a day passed before the money was spent on 2 new accounts to make more gold.
after a month making even more gold and seeing the potensial i invested in 2 more computers and more accounts.

about a year ago now i had my first month making over 3000$ from doing something i enjoyed and considered more intresting than my dayjob and delivered my resignation.
i enjoyed a nice and even increase in income as the number of computers grew and last month made 8000$
sadly this "era" is coming to a end with the number of people doing same increasing massivly and the income dropping therby.
luckely since i was in the market early i still have the loyalty and rep for delivering making me able to unload my gold/goods

as im not to intrested in going back to the 9 to 5 job i figured this would be a nice place to sniff around.
not to diffrent from what i do now, work on the script from start and watch my baby grow tweaking it and helping it reach its potensial.
not expecting the same income or close to it, but with some effort only time can tell.

figured a arcade would be a nice place to start as a project and bought myself a licence for ArcadEm and looking around for a server.
    after looking at literaly hundreads of 40-50$ servers with hardware i wouldent want to use as a paperweight my pick landed on this baby for 199$;

cant say im a expert on servers but looks solid with good options for upgrades further on.

still gotta decide on a OS for it tho "Std/Ent/R2, CentOS4/5, FC5/6, FreeBSD6.2" would love some suggestion as for witch one.
my linux knowlage goes as far as i have heard about freebsd and can pick tux out from a lineup :)

my rambling got a litle longer than originaly thought but oh well.

With arcade sites it's basically go big or go home, there are so many and competition is stiff.

Reading your post I do sense you have what it takes to go big so I wish you the best of luck.

@Indian_Webmaster: not that long, after all i did skip the first 20years :)

@Roman: there is indeed alot of arcades, what realy makes me wonder on most of them is that they are willing to pay up 30-50$ for a script and games but still not another 50$ for a new design and seem very intrested in sending evrybody off to other arcades filling up on 100x100 ads

Exactly, like I said, go big or go home, few do, so they fail. You showed the go big attitube with WOW and if you apply that to any niche, be it arcade games or something else, you will be successful. Personally I think you have what it takes to do well creating a good living online so I don't think there is anything other I can add then best of luck.

From what I've seen, this board is for people that like posting one-liners.

You should highlight the important parts for those that have ADD and can't read that much.:p
