I want to develop my website so what is best idea for link development.

submit social bookmarking sites but with do-follow link.

Profile backlinks are also good, this method is called angela edwards backlinking.

do you have a list of sites that offers links from the profiles? and another thing if you will look on linkedin you will see that they removed all the links, so to success in it you need lots of links.

Profile backlinking does not work any longer. That is, if they are not completely navigational from the main pages of the website.

 

From my own expirience only forum posting, profiles are worth of the time.

 

I recommend the following:

1. article marketing (definitely using article distribution services)
2. web 2.0 pages (using something like SENuke can make this go faster, although it's expensive.)
3. social bookmarking
4. blog commenting
5. press releases
6. forum signatures
7. directory submissions (i'm actually not sure this is worth doing anymore...? it's something I used to always do with a new site)
8. videos (YouTube)
9. good content (sometimes you can get people who will link to you because they like your site, imagine that?)
