parents would tell there kids to be good to there parents nd if they don't they'd go to hell. Now, since the life expectancy was like 32 back then,, they never got a chance to tell there kids they lied...so these kids told other kids and they told ther kids and they told there kids and so on and so on until it reached the bible ... then every one belived in the devil

 

Ever heard of the term "lifting"? I experienced this about 15 years ago when some relatives of mine introduced it to me.

What happens is the someone (preferably a heavy person) sits in a chair. Then, four (preferably light) people stand next to the guy in the chair. One at each shoulder and one at each knee and the same on the other side. A ritual is done with hands and closing of eyes for a few minutes. Then with just the tips of each of the four persons fingers are used to lift the person in the chair way up above the four persons heads with ease.

Up until three years ago I didn't know what was happening back then until I read in the Bible about Satan's followers called "demons". Then, I understood what happened. It's all an aim by Satan to take the focus away from God. You know, just because we can't see Satan does not mean that he is not real. Take gravity and radiation for example. We can't see it but we know it is there. There many, many signs that are around that denotes that Satan exists. If you read some verses in the Bible about him and his attempts, you might think a bit more about whether or not he exists.

P.S: Don't belive everything that is in the bible. Remember ... a bunch of people wrote stories claiming that god told them to write these story's... and the pope decided which ones were more believable ....

Sorry mate, the Bible was written well before any Pope's were around, and as such I sure do believe everything in the Bible. Who cares what the pope says anyhow? Who is he that I should subject myself to? He worships an idol in the biggest way which is in direct conflict with Gods commandment.

It has to be through the use of demonic spirit. In other owrds Satan's followers. Don't be misled here. They are very powerful and very intelligent beings.

 

I see now. So your family members are possessed? I know that demons are powerful and I have seen supernatural things but from the good side of the force.

 

I don't think they are or were possessed. I think they just didn't know what they were dealing with. I will admit, neither did I at the time.

 

What supernatural things have you seen?

 

I've met a healer who, one might say, performs miracles yet he says that he's just a tool used by God to help people. You gotta see people in wheelchairs walking again in order to believe in what I saw. According to him we all have rebelled against God and need to repent. This is the only reason why we're living here on earth. Our souls have 7 tries to improve as long as we don't commit suicide or sell our soul to the devil. Reincarnation is very true and it was removed from the church's teachings at the Council of Constantinople in 553 A.D.. Yet it can be found in the bible:
John 3:1: "Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council."
John 3:2: "He came to Jesus at night and said, "Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him.""
John 3:3: "In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.""

 

Hmmmm..Have not heard of the 7 tries thing before. Don't know where it says that in the Bible.

Born again? Paul talks about this but not like that. He describes it as putting away the old personality and clothing yourself with the new personality. I believe this has nothing to do with reincarnation. Maybe you are thinking of resurrecting? This is what Jesus did with his friend Lazarus and many other who he brought back to life. Did they come back to life as a worm, or a beetle, or anything else? No, they came back as themselves. This was a foregleam of things to come. This is what the kingdom is about. The kingdom that replaces all other kingdoms (Dan 2:44) forever. The benefits of the kingdom is restoring earth to a paradise state and resurrecting those in God's memorial tombs (Rev 21:3-4).

 

There are only the first death and the second death (for the unfortunate ones).
The Bible is very clear about that.

We all have to die ones.

Born again means being born spiritually out of water again. Babtism = emerging out of water

 

That's exactly right! We all want to avoid the second death, which is everlasting destruction. Satan will taste this second death at the end of the 1000 year reign of Christ as king. He will be let loose for a lttle while as a final test of obedience for those who survive Armageddon and those who are resurrected into the new system.

Also correct. Born again means exactly that. Baptism by water immersion. To wash away the former way of life.

 

I never said it was in the bible that we get to live 7 lives. The healer told me so. You can believe in whatever you want to believe. I'm not going door to door convincing others of "my" doctrine. As much as I respect all religions I don't respect what Jehova Witnesses do. I had an argument with them once and they said I was wrong. How can I be wrong and they be right? How can I be right and they be wrong? Why can't we all be right or wrong? I never said I was right but I said it was my belief.

 

I never said 7 lives either. I quoted you saying 7 tries. That's fair enough too! You can believe whatver you like because it does not change what the Bible says. God will do exactly what he has planned to do because he cannot lie. I can't change what he is going to do either. Now would I even want to. God is absolutely perfect in every way and his purposes always benefit us. I can only hope that you see that about him and want to do something for him because really, we owe him. He made us, he gave us life, he gave us free will, and we, as humans, have messed it up big time.

When the Witnesses told you that you were wrong, it was most probably something you said about what we do or what the Bible says. Try not to take it personally. Their aim is to invite you to look into the Bible to find out what it really teaches. I can understand how some get upset at what we bring to them. But, I have no doubt that they would have shown respect when they discerned that you were upset and they most probably left at that point in time. Did this happen? Sorry to pry.

 

I asked them to leave and never come back. I did mean 7 lives and it cannot be found anywhere in the bible. The bible is just a book written in ancient languages which are hard to translate these days and cause a lot of confusion. God gave us life for just one purpose to make up for our sins. We(our souls) dwell in animal bodies as a form of punishment not reward. The world we live in is a prison guarded by both demons and angels. They are with us at all times and sometimes we can feel their presence. Demons want us to fall and angels are helping us find the right path. Whether one believes in God or gods is subject to the same rules. There's no other escape but death. Yet we are prohibited to end our own lives. The world isn't going to end until all souls have served their sentences. However the current situation doesn't look too good because Satan is growing in strength and has more than 70% of the population under his dark wings. If he reaches 100% the world will end as well because there will be no hope left. However, nobody knows what God will do. We can only pray and beg for mercy.

 

Actually, Satan has over 99% of the world under his wings at present. It's a lot worse than you think. He is very powerful and very clever. But God will never let him have 100%. It ain't gonna happen because the Bible says so. I have more faith in the Bible (only through a lot of research), and I do know what God is going to do, again because the Bible says very clearly what he is going to do and when he will do it (according to signs, not a date as such).
