Hello, I have registered 10 domains and Iam planning to host all the 10 domains with 10 different IP address. My plan is to make all the sites live and make them age for upto 2 or 3 years. So that after 2 years i can convert those sites in to e-commerece sites. In future I want to link all these sites internally. Is there any problem with Google, Yahoo or MSN. All the domains are registered on my name If required i wll change my name there. I want senior seo's to help me out. If this plan works are not. With Regards Prabha99
i am not a pro in seo , but from what i know you wont have no problem with SE if you dont have duplicated website , they are all diffirent websites diffirent look and continenent , linking is great idea to drive traffic from one to others , and build your pr , i think you should be fine TvDomain
Just to be on the safe side is a good idea to have more than 1 ip for hosted domains. Now, 2 years until you start e-commerce seems a bit too much for me.
Hi, There won't be any problem for Yahoo and MSN but for Google you have to acquire different IPs. Also, I have heard that google store DNS information too in his database (no evidence). If that's true, you can change your DNS information too.
You don't have to have different ip's at all.......i think it is one of the many SEO myths out there.....just think of all the ISP's in the world that are using the same ip for their own sites.
Having a network of sites in the same niche, on different IPs and interlinked (dont overdoit) is a very good SEO strategy.
You are quite correct, I didn't mention the niche factor in my last post. If your producing similar sites, then yes defo use different ips, but if they are totally different content then it doesn't matter at all.
