    Hello Digital Point

I'm looking to start a website where people watch shows like Family Guy, American Dad, South Park, and more.

But the last time I did this I got a e-mail from Fox saying that they would sue me if I didn't remove all the embeded videos from my site.

I see a lot of sites that get away with this. This one site is even hosted in Canada.

    www.watch-american-dad-online.com

How does this guy get away with this, he even has a large database of other shows.

    http://www.watch-american-dad-online.com/Watch-TV-Shows-Online.html

    Please help.

    Thank You

edit: Sorry if i posted in the wrong forum. Don't really know where to post it.

I wouldn't suggest it. If you haven't noticed lately, the government is seizing those domain names. There's also the previously mentioned lawsuits to deal with.

Just because a site gets away with it for now, doesn't mean they won't be shut down in the future.

Forget about what others are doing illegally. They are taking a risk of being sued or even criminal prosecution. Not everyone gets caught. If you don't want to take the risk, find something original that doesn't involve the theft of property.
