About hdfc vcc India

    Hi guys…

    I just tried HDFC VCC. I define a limit of Rs5000 in my VCC and the amount is debited from my bank account. Then I register a domain using VCC. It costs me $9.99.

    Now I want to know where I can get my VCC balance?

    Please suggest me.

    The remaining balance comes back to your account in few days.

    You don't need to make 5000rs vcc for $9.99. Simply multiply $$ with 50 and make vcc of that amount. Remaining funds would come back to your account.

    Thanks for the help. I thought that it will remain as a balance and I will further use it.

    By the way, I contact with HDFC customer care and he replied that the fund will be credit back with in 35 days.

    yes it's true fund will be credited to your account after 35 days minus some currency exchange charges as you have purchased in dollars

    They don't take 35 days to refund money. It takes only 3 or 4 days to refund.
    Only sometime when the VCC in USE then only it takes 30 days.

    And if its not working in namecheap use other sites. For hosting I use hostgator and internetbs for domains and VCC works well.

    what is the error you are getting while doing the transaction?
    Can you see the the merchant's name as namecheap in your statement?
    I guess you are using your old vcc to purchase another item. Netsafe vcc is a one time use card only

    nmecheap accepts HDFC VCC with no issues
    I just renew 1 domain yesterday

    I tried today on Godaddy and Namecheap.

    Both are showing some types of errors.

    Then you are not using it correctly.

    Make sure to create a new vcc each time you have to use. Old vcc won't work.

    No I am using it correctly. The details are not working on Godaddy and Namecheap but it is working fine on Name.com.

    I tried on Godaddy but it does not work and then I used the same details on Name.com and it works perfectly.

    please state the error you are getting.
    Is it a visa or mastercard?
    just done a successful transaction at godaddy!!!

    if you have first witness a failed transaction at one merchant and the error comes as "transaction declined" than it will render your vcc useless for next transaction. As you are saying that you use the same info on name.com and successfully paid name.com than i am quite sure that you have entered wrong info in the godaddy.com checkout page.
