I read one article about google news, it said if your web can be crawled by google news, it will get more traffic,I think it is a good way to get traffic,our website is about electronic news, I have submit our web to it, but nothing can be seen. have you submited your web to it? do you have some ideas let google news visite your web?
You can request Google include your URL in google news here: http://www.google.com/support/news_pub/bin/answer.py?answer=40787 But it's not easy to get in. It will only index what it believes to be established, trusted news sources.

Google news will not index article websites, even if they're original. It has to be actual newsworthy news headlines, of journalistic merit, in order to be included in the news index.
If you submit press release and get approved in press release directories it can be crawled in google news quickly.
