About google indexing

Hello guys!
I am new here, and my question is ...

I have added my website to google, and then I am checking my sitemap in webtools (google) it shows me that "URLs in web index = 80" but then I am typing in google search "site:mysite.com" it gives only 8-12 results not more .. Why?
I added my website into google about 2-3 weeks ago...

Please help! I really need it!

 

Remember that indexing your content is one task, showing it in the search engine results is another. When you content is indexed it does just that, it records details of your website and the content used, links, etc. Then at a future point in time that indexing is read by another process and each page is placed in the search engine results as google deems fit.

It usually takes quite a while for a new site. Just keep on adding content to your site and you will find the time frame between indexing and appearing in the search engine results will decrease.

Google indexing means google bot has crawled or index your web pages.
Genarally Google will index a new website gradually, the speed by which Google will index all the internal pages will depend on different factors though.

 

You might want to look into a pinging site to alert google of new content

 

And don't expect for Google to show all the indexed pages of your site, they only show a fraction for a reason. Better thing you can do is give good optimization and link building for your individual pages or sections.

Nothing to be worried about. It generally takes time to come in search result after being indexed. In the mean time, work for SEO so that your pages can come strongly in search result.

 

You need to build backlinks to your website if you want google to index you.

There is no other way.

 

Google avoid showing all the index pages of your website. In recent mattcutt video he has explain that the reason why they started displaying only count not all the index page. As per his speech, he said now days many automated tools are scanning google result. To secure your links from competitors or spammers they started showing only few top results.

 

It may take some time to index all of your pages. You can help google by registering Google Webmaster Tools and getting some backlinks to your website.

 

You must just make page in facebook or twitter and publish you articles.
