About Google indexing

Hi,

i've created a blog and posted many posts, but still i didnt get any search results which points to my blog. even i searched using the blog name itself, that too failed. so what should i do to increase my blog popularity?

Number on your site is an free site...that's a a waste of time..next your backlinks are low..so you need to do seo to get it rolling..

 

Also how long has the site been up? It could take a few days to a few weeks sometimes.

 

how to know blogs uptime? is there any tools available?

it does not matter if we have site on free host, many free host sites get listed in free

normally google picks site very quickly, if its your new site make some backlinks and unique post, google will catch it

 

i've given some keywords for the particular post and when i searched using general search i found my blog listed on the first page. i thought google might fetch this from cache as i often go to the blog. so i tried some proxy site to search using google, still i got the same results. so keywords works well. still lot of works left like submitting blog sitemap etc.. thanks guys for your help...

You need to do lots of work for your blog to get search result. Your blog is cached on 10 Nov 2010 check this string in google: cache:http://eazytutorial.blogspot.com/2010/11/favourite-icon-scriptphp.html. So now if you search using your blog name may be you will get search result. So now start link building using directory submission, social bookmarking and most important for blogs rss feed. Also ping your blog using ping sites it will notify google whenever you make any update to your blog. Moreover I want to advice that there is very less content on your blog. Make some unique and informative content for your blog on what is your blog about and what php scripts and tutorials you are offering for free. One more thing- text of your blog is not easily readable change your text fonts.

thanks listiaclone. like you, some of my friends also told me about the fonts. i'll improve my blog content soon. you mentioned about social bookmarking. but am not familiar on that, i assume social bookmarking means like making tweets ,scrapping about our blog , is that right listia.

 

Your site is cached and indexed in Google, so I don't see any problems there. I did a site search in Google and it's picking up about 14 pages on your site so Google is indexing your site. You're not getting any traffic from Google because you don't have high enough rankings for anyone to click on your. Your site is very new (or at least the blog posts don't gate back any farther than Oct of this year so I think you just need to build some links to your content to get it ranking better.

 

Submit a sitemap to Google/Bing/Yahoo webmaster tools.

 

You can search how to pinging your blog to get the fast index. Or looking people who can do it for you with just $5 at Fiverr.

 

Frequently add content to your blogs, and start link building to increase your blog's popularity.

 

i've seen robot.txt in google webmaster tool . but i couldn't figure out what was the exact use of that? can anybody tell me about that?

 

submit your site to google, then wait sometime.. make more blog posts at least more than 100, you have only 17 now..
