We all use site command to determine the indexed pages of our website. For majority of sites , Home page is the first page the Google shows. Some websites have inner pages as the first page in Index. My Question is how does Google decides the priority of pages in the indexed pages of a website.
Google decide it upon the importance of your webpage and its directly proportional to the relevancy content and backlink on that page. So its all depend upon you which page you want to show in search result.
yeah, I have also websites for that if I searched with site command in Google then Google shows the inner page at top and the Home page after that...The case with me is the inner page was having good content as compared to Home page which was having more Flash, Images than content...So I think Google decides according to relevancy of content for that webpage...
some time it shows recently updated post on the top. It keeps changing. So, Based on quality and update you will get priority.
