    Have you tried Elance? There are plenty of good writers there. Try and get some personal recommendations if you can though.

    I've had better results with Odesk. I quit Elance after a couple bad experiences when I lost money. Their support team didn't even bother to reply when I asked for help.

    Elance can be tricky and I'm sure your issue was related to their size. Not every employee of a big company cares. It seems to me odesk is smaller and their employees tend to have a interest in their freelancers.
