about forum posting............

There are two ways to go about doing anything in life.

The quick fix
Like dieting you can try all the fads on the market but if you are just looking for a microwave solution. You won't see results for the long term. The same is true with forum posting. The truth is you are thinking about it all wrong. You shouldn't be thinking about links. But about helping the forum poster with his problem.

Hard work
By putting in the hard work of creating a useful solution for the OP you will actually be helping someone else and your self at the same time.
But it requires knowledge and research to help the user. And the problem is your in too much of a rush to see results so you are unable to empathize with the OP and don't care at all about his pain. And dont bother attempting to resolve it.

The key is trying to help someone else and not just yourself.

 

First, you need to read TOS/RULES/GUIDELINES. Most of the forums will gave you warning if you break any of their guidelines.
If you don't want to get banned from forums that you joined, don't spam or they will kick you out.
If you want to share some interesting info, then it would be fine, but if you want to post on forums so that you can post your links in it, just forget it. Make your own forum so that you can post many links that you want.

You can promote yourself in your signature, but if forums openly allowed self-promotion they'd go from being a reliable source of good advice and relevant discussions to being spam-filled sites that you would most likely want to avoid.

 

Don't be so commercial on forum posting. Try to contribute on forums. No just post about your business. Use only the signature section to promote your site/business.
