Which forex product are we talking about here. Each products has their own conversion rate, so we can not include all of them in the same basket. We both can be promoting the same forex product but that doesn`t mean that we`ll have the same conversion rate.

It all comes down to how targeted our traffic is, how convincing is our landing page, and the ultimate question is..... is the customer really want to get the product. Because no matter how convincing we can be, it all comes down to the customer.

Yes, you can make money on this niche but get ready to see some refunds in your account too, especially if you promise them that the product will make them rich in one night.

Average conversion rates are hidden in Clickbank, there is no way of finding out. I would say that the highest gravity forex products are probably high converting.

forex EAs (robots bots whatever you want to call them) have horribly high refund rates, makes me think they don't work for crap. I have about a 65% refund rate and I promote 4 of them pretty equally. Glad its all free traffic.

I agree with wowhaxor. I have gotten some complaints from my blog readers after posting my Forex Auto Trader review. out of 11 none of them apparently received a refund for over a month. I personally feel responsible for this. It kinda sucks because my blog got some negative reputation because of their product!

Problem with Robots is that they are designed for particular market conditions e.g trending or ranging markets. You can make money if the market favours the Robot but you will give it back when the market changes. There are some new Robots coming soon that can adapt to different markets.

so true - a lot of the older robots were based on established rules and not adaptive ... certainly there are a number of newer robots being release in the last couple of weeks that promise to be more adaptive, will be interesting to see their results

I haven't made any thing in the FOREX niche yet -- I hope to -- and I hope they dont refund anything either :)

But seriously, the FOREX niche is highly competitive and hard to break into -- I think it is one of the only niches you really need to know a lot about in order to be successful in selling the stuff.

The problem with the FOREX niche, in my opinion, is that too many people are curious -- they click the hoplinks for research purposes -- but they are not in the buying phase.

By all means, DO NOT DO PPC in the FOREX niche -- i researched it in google keyword tool about 2 months ago. The cheapest youre gonna get is like $6-$8 a click, with some keywords near $20/click.

Another problem, most people looking into FOREX have no idea what the f*** they are doing, so with everyone jumping on them with this and that, they get intimidated and are less likely to take action. I've had 50 clicks a day on FAP Turbo and nothing -- nada -- zilch -- and I offer actual proven settings as a bonus if they purchase it.

This tells me that the niche is uneducated and scared, and looking for a quick solution to the economic woes right now. If it doesn't work out, they'll get a refund more than likely, bc most people think FOREX will make you rich overnight -- and most of the products claim to also.

That's just what you need is people clicking your PPC ads at $20/click and walking off. They're essentially charging you to do their research on your site. I never did it, but seriously, don't do PPC on this niche.

You are obviously not bidding on the right keywords, I never pay more than $0.5-$0.6 per click and have made a good number of sales. It always converts better for me than any other traffic and you can afford to send 100 hops and still make money when the commission is $80-90

Then again, don't bother with PPC, I don't need the competition! :D

    Don't dismiss it.
