... got an e-mail, today, indicating an infraction for a thread I didn't start. I don't recall contributing to the thread, but may have offered a general comment. The thread wasn't of interest, when I read for verification purposes, so unlikely I posted or posted anything of particular significance: sometimes support is what's required.

As it's ostensibly unrelated to me, probably an error, I'll let it go.

Still, the notion a moderator can freely apply infractions, which may or may not have any effect on our DP activity, is a concern. In a true sense, such action is fascist -- quelling free speech, for example -- and Nazi-like, as in anonymity without over sight and thus no recourse. Then, again, it might be a 12 year old -- chronologically or mentally -- who doesn't know any better, who applied the infraction.

Plus, there doesn't seem to be anywhere I can verify or check on infractions lodged against me. If there is such a site location, someone please direct me to it.

I own my actions, good or bad, but DP moderators apparently don't. Stalin smiles in his grave.

We'll know when I'm banned for this thread. :):):)

When you sign up for the forums, you agree to the rules and regulations, haven't you? You definitely can have free speech, but freedom of action is a right you can't take away from the mods right?

The following comment in a sales thread is inappropriat.

Appropriate posts in a sales thread are questions for seller and negotiations between potential buyers and seller.
