    Google have just released their latest algorithmic update which has heavily targeted a small proportion of Exact Match Domains (EMDs) and pushed them down the search results in favour of "higher quality" sites.
    An Exact Match Domain is a website where the url is an exact match for the key phrase its customers would type into google to find them. So for example, if you were promoting hotels near the channel tunnel (Eurotunnel), then this woul

    It is a “small” algorithm change that will “ reduce low-quality "exact-match domain” from showing up so highly in the search results. To till now there is no effect on websites.

    Right. Google EMD is reflect of low Pr, Categorized websites. Its create specially for low quality but Exact Match Domain websites.

    EMD:-Exact Match Domain means the domain which are exact match to their keywords that kind of domain will not be ranked higher in Google.

    Exact match domains (EMD) are exactly what they sound like. If you wanted to create a site to target the keyword phrase.

    Recently Google rolled out a small algorithm change that is EMD penguin update. Exact match domain means domain match exactly with search query. This update has impacted 0.6% of English search query. The purpose of this update is to target the low quality sites that might be trying to get good ranks on exact match domains.     Google is doing EMD update for the betterment of the process.

    I'd like to give you an example to clear your views, suppose you might have done lots of off page and on page work to get a better ranking in Google Search result, but if you see a website that doesn't have any quality back links nor having strong on page optimized page, but still ranking better than you just because it has exact matching domains.

    How do you feel that point of time?

    That's the purpose why Google is eliminating the low graded exact match domain for showing up the quality website in Google search result.
