I want to share you that now i am getting more traffic through the digg and I am also getting good back link in google webmaster , what is your experience with Digg.

 

Digg is only really effective if you can get on the first page.

 

yes its correct digg is only effective if you can get your submission in page one. But initially it gives some clicks.

 

I submitted some links on digg few days ago and now I can see back links in webmasters tools. It means digg is effective.

 

I don't think that Digg is really that effective. People usually only look at the first page or if you're lucky the second.

 

digg is Ok... but it takes a lot of time to succeed to add your site there

 

Just because a link is showing up in webmaster tools does not mean it is a positive effect on your link juice and page rank. I don't have a link on that, but I remember reading it from Matt Cutts. Basically, the webmaster tools links are almost a completely random selection of everything you've got, whether or not it is counted for ranking purposes.

So how do you do it? I'm looking for tips on how to generate tons of visitors from this famous social bookmarking site.

It depends on the niche. I had one site where I seriously tripled my traffic in 1 day with Digg. Another site, I get nothing. You'll know if it works.

Digg is very popular social bookmarking & there for it's easy to get traffic on your site. Digg made for only social bookmarking of your story or blogs not for gathering back links for your site. You can't add your site link directly, this will create bad effect on your profile.

Digg is really a traffic booster. But the thing is how to make this traffic booster work for our sites. I think the account should be very active and keep on submitting new thing to digg. But even then I did not get atlest 10 visitors from that particular site.
How to deal with this site.

 

Digg really very helpful site to get your page on the page immediately i.e fast index.. and we can get good back from there, am getting nice traffic also from there. It's my personal experience.
