Hello, I hired someone recently to create with me a wordpress plugin (helping me on its creation). This plugin will do Related Posts exchange between subscribed blogs (With definition of PR, rank, ...). Anyway, any blogger know that the 1st tip to be successfull on blogging stuff is to create a plugin and publish it on your site, and traffic will be bombed up ! That's not the problem here, I want to know, does I have to keep it on a single page (updates of it, downloads, articles and everything about it) of my main blog or should create a website for it ? The main goal is getting traffic, gain new visitors and get better rank and PR to Online People Magazine, and on that case, it's better to putt it on my site, But, such plugin may need it's own website as it's a kind of very powerful .. (Like http://www.blogtrafficexchange.com/ ) Please deciding about that ! Single site or same page ? Without forget SEO point of view, traffic and ranking future for my site ...
your plugin idea is very nice(i am not sure but i already saw a plugin like that i think) so there will be a lot of questions about it. you can not answer all of them in a single page. you will need to install a forum. for example check one my theme wordpressthemesbook.com/wordtube-video/. this is just a theme but it got 100 comments in a month(all of comments are real questions or answers). if it was a good plugin, i think it would get 1000 questions. because most of the people do not know what is <a href>, etc. you need to explain everything. if i were you, i will create a site for the plugin. i am sure it will be pr6-7. you can sell banners easily.
