    Hi all,

If I'm using clickbank hoplink to create affiliate link which is, something like :
    http://3aa70ag9fhgeptbazjrfxdeqa-.hop.clickbank.net/

so if someone click on that link, they'll go to merchant site. But if they didn't decided to buy ebook immediately but first want to subscribe newsletter from merchant site. and month after month, let's say after 6 months receiving follow up email from merchant newsletter, and finally they decided to buy, can i still get commision? how clickbank can tracking this customer comes from me?

If they buy within 60 days you will get the commission. After the cookie expires in 60 days the vendor will get 100% of the profits.

Okay. What if the buyer changes the Affiliate URL to his own affiliate URL and buy the product?

then the affiliate would get a commission on his/her own buy. It's not a condone practice but, ClickBank hasn't found a way of stopping it.

Then he will get the commission.
But this probably won't happen to much outside of the make money online niche. Most people will not know what an affiliate link is.

He will have to earn a minimum of 5 sales from individual customers to be able to cash a cheque. But you will still lose the commission.

Don't think that is correct. Well, on second thought it is correct providing the customer does not clear cookies when they close the browser. In other words, I clear cookies, cache, temp internet files before I close my browser. If I went back to clickbank the next day, that cookie is gone. They would treat me as a new customer. The affiliate I clicked on originally gets nothing.

At least that is the way I understand it.
