i want to know about ,is there excellent scope in SEO .

 

I will be working seo field for the past 2.5 years, me also have the same questions within me itself but i can't get the exact answer for them.

Try to learn web designing also, thus will helpful to your future career. Because seo related to the website marketing so i was plan to learn web design this is my suggestion.

SEO Field never go down. Because each site need promotion. So you need to increase your talent on site promotional activity and new trends.

 

Web design is also good option about your career

 

seo is globalization internet marketing, its scope would be increase day by day.

 

Try to learn PHP(or other web application) Languages or else choose Web Designing with SEO as an Career....

 

There is bright future of SEO...B'coz that is ever lasting thing..SEO will remain till the internet is there and websites are there..Of course ways of doing SEO may change time to time but the basic things will remain same..

 

All the profession are profitable now. But due to spammers seo, google regularly changing the algo and the challenges starts in seo. Try to go in the field of internet marketing. Be all-rounder. Also learn html, content writing, php, etc. Then you will servive in this field else not. Or if you can do this then continue else change your profession.

I have noticed that many guys working in SEO firms in India have no real skills. They are just providing cheap labor for services like directory submissions, social bookmarking etc.

the cost difference between west and India is slowly decreasing.

few years from now, the difference may not be attractive enough and lot of outsourced work may get diverted to other cheaper destinations.

only those with real SEO skills will survive.

along with your job, try to develop at least one site on your own.

that will give you an idea how good you really are.

read the popular SEO blogs/forums and try to stay ahead of "the crowd".

SEO does have a good future, but only for those who are willing to learn and adapt.

i want to clear that SEO is a part of Internet Marketing and IM holds SEO, SMO & PPC work.
SO you want to know about only SEO then no doubt about it good future but only for a time if you want good package then you sholud have to go in depth of IM.
