About C- Class IP address in hosting

    hi

    I am weak in understanding the IP address..........

    My Hosting provide has promised me to give different c-class ip's ...........can anyone tell me where i can get exact difference between a dedicated ip and different c-class ip's

    x.x.x.y, with Y being 0-255, is a given Class C address range
    z.z.z.y, is a different class C address range.

    what they are saying, is that they are giving you ips where the first 3 octects in the ip address are not all identical

    c-class ip also good for web directory.
