About Apache server security

    hi all

    i am going to host my second website. and currently still struggling with the windows NT + apache server. Anyone give me some suggestions? Is it better for me to pick up linux, or windows NT actually doing well with apache?

    regarding security issues, usually what should i instal and what precautous actions should i take to prevent majority of problems?

    hi funseeker,

    Base on my experience.. (i'm using a Collocation server since 2006) , that put an Apache (WampServer) on WinNT server , its doing fine, as long that NT server have Anti Virus, and also updated patch .. another friend of mine suggest to used FreeBSD because of their lighting speed, reduce resource space capacity.

    Well, just for share, may be there anyone else had another an experience to share.

    use linux is better and much safer than windows.

    yea use linux especially if you are using WinNT server
