about alexa, please help

    i have launched a new site www.techtipsmaster.com and i am getting moderate traffic to the site.when will alexa get my site,still now no alexa rankings...will it take months?

    Why are you concerned about the meaningless alexa rankings? They count for nothing.

    Alexa is not too accurate about traffic as Alexa on counts the traffic with the Alexa Toolbar installed,So it's not so accurate as many people doesn't have that toolbar.
    But it's said that putting the widget on your site can help increasing your ranking in Alexa.

    i too have read in similar manner somewhere...this is a bad way of increasing the rank...that is why,alexa rank is not reliable and doesnt exactly measure the traffic of a site,rather than on many other factors which is solely on their side

    it will take about month. install alexa toolbar and refresh your website some times. it will take less.

    It wont help you in any way anymore. They changed their algo a few weeks back. Anyway, they will surely assign you a new rank when they update it next week. So hang tight.

    It shouldn't take more than 3weeks also depends on traffic your site have maybe you get it listed faster.

    Did you not read the message posted above. This does not work anymore as they have changed the algo. (why do people not read all posts in a thread before posting?)
