About Adsense CTR,how to Enhance it

I have run Google adsense more than six months,But my CTR only no more than 1%.
In general, CTR only is about 0.5% .

Proper placement is key. Experiment with different positions and see which works for you.

 

If your CTR is down, that means your adsense ads are not placed properly. You may need to revise their positions.

 

I don't think it's only about ad placement. Sometimes your site/blog gets lots of page views because it shows up in Google Image search, but people there only click for photos and don't look at ads. That is the reason my blogs also have a low CTR.

 

In my opinion CTR depends also on the keywords you are using, generally My CTR is tremendously low due to working on SEO. Visitors know that fact, they may not feel interest to click on others adsense.

 

Mine is 15% Click through rate. Try to look for a good template that would increase yours.

The niche of your site/blog is important. Is the niche a buying type of the type where free information is available everywhere on the internet e.g. internet business

 

Mine is 20-30%. Beside what the rest had mention about placement, I agree with johnk681 - market you are targeting is also important. On top of that, the degree of your targeted keywords as well.
