If your main goal by posting a comment is to get a backlink, then you are a spammer. No matter how long/good this comment is.

Thats why I am building a database of 10,000 dofollow pages PR1 - PR6 but will treat them as an asset not to be shared, it is the only way you can stay ahead of the game

So here are 2 responses to this:

    A) If i leave a comment with my name as the anchor text or where it simply says "name" and leave a beneficial comment, this is spam!?

    B) I add an extremely beneficial piece of information in a comment (again using my real name where it says "name") that would make a good article even better, thus benefiting the reader...this is spam?

If this is the case, what is the purpose of enabling comments on a blog?

If this is the case, why be interactive in forums?

If this is the case, why become interactive in groups, and add insight anywhere and everywhere, that is related and beneficial to a reader?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_(electronic)

I have just enclosed a related definition of what we are talking about.

Would this Wikipedia article be considered spamming this forum?

Hope you spend the time to maintain it. I review mine each month. About 10% will turn to nofollow.

    Best of luck
