I have made my decisions long time ago about supporting free speech, free religion and people's right to decide over their own body. It doesn't matter how much a pro-terrorist, anti-American like you, try to fool people by pretending that you care about children, there will always be people who fight you and your fascist friends in order to stop the establishment of a dictatorship.
I think it is depending on the situation. you can't just say it's good or bad without knowing the details of why someone wants to get an abortion in the first place.
Na, Mr. little God - gworld. Do you ever have a cold? some minor diseases or even some bad diseases? How can you say that you can have control over your own body?
You know, I really do agree with the ideal that EVERYONE, not just women, have the right to do whatever they what to their own body. This means if you want to do drugs, you should be allowed to, it's your own body. The government shouldn't be the one deciding that alcohol is better for you to use then pot. It's ridiculous for the government to try and protect you from yourself. The same with fining you if you decide not to wear your seatbelt. Where does their right to do that come from? These types of laws are fascist in nature, and don't belong in America. But when you bring another human into to the picture, it changes everything. You shouldn't be able to drug someone else without their consent, and you shouldn't be able to kill someone else. That is a basic liberty even more fundamental then the right over what you do with your own body. The right for no one else to make choices harmful to your body or life. Pro-choice argues that Pro-life wants control over the woman's body, but Pro-life argues that Pro-choice wants to kill a real human being and that Pro-life has the right to protect that human being. Anyway, like I was saying way back at the beginning of the thread, I think it just comes down to whether or not you believe it's a human baby, or just a useless tumor. I think that is the dividing factor, and the only thing left to really argue about is "when does human life begin?". Does anyone disagree that this is the real issue... shady debate techniques aside?
Deciding over your body is different than controlling your body. I can not control my body not to get old or sick but I can decide over my body by choosing what kind of medicines I take or what kind of diet I have. Decide: to make a judgment or determine a preference; come to a conclusion. Control: to exercise restraint or direction over; dominate; command.
But when their is a body inside a womans body means 2 different bodies, right? Yes, women can dicide over their own bodies but not someone elses. - That would be rather controlling, or the decison to control and judge about other human bodies.
Your so good at stating the obvious, it's not about if it's legal or not, it's about whether it's right. Like i've said numerous times to you, she does have the right to decide to get pregnant or not, she has the right to do whatever she likes with her body, however once she has a baby then that baby has a right to live, she doesn't have the right to kill it. I don't know if your just slow or plain retarded. And if you want to know your true feelings about abortion watch this video.
What a dumb person. I don't need to watch the video since I can not get pregnant and so I never need to make that decision. IT IS HER DECISION AND NO ONE ELSE. She has the right to decide over her body and if she doesn't want that in her body, it is her right to remove it. How about they take it out of her body and put it in you, so you can give birth since you are so concerned?
Gworld nonsense doesn't wash with me. She has the right to put it their in the first place or not, not to kill it once it's there, it's just being selfish & irresponsible anyway you look at it, you bang on about rights yet you don't think the baby has any, are you really concerned about rights or just convenience? Surely your beliefs about a man not having to pay child support or to fund that child if he chooses not to merely by telling the pregnant women he doesn't want a child is proof of that.
A hypocrite once said: be a man and discuss with people who disagree instead of these yellow belly tactics.
That I care about unborn children who die through abortion but I applaud the killing of alive children and rape of teenage girls, the hypocrite was Gtech.
As long as fetus can not survive outside of her body, there is not a human life. I support her right to decide over her body and if she doesn't want the fetus inside her, then it is her right to remove it which results in fetus destruction.
Nobody can survive without society. We all depend on each other. We all using and drawing from others, so does a fetus or a new life in the beginning of its development. A fetus is not a tumor but a divine new human in it's progress. Show me one adult that is able to live a life in this world by doing everything him/herself, for example, building his/her own roads, make his own computer fro A - Z - endless list of dependences.
i have a child and i can say that having a wonderfull child is one of the greatest gift from God... i really don't like abortion
I certainly don't find abortion to be something pleasant or worth endorsing. Contraceptive pills are widely available & women who don't want to get pregnant should ideally be using them. You can't rule other people's lives though & outlaw stuff just because you don't like it. If a woman wants to get an abortion, she should be able to. I guess it's the number of days into pregnancy that draws any line. The current standard is 8 weeks, I believe.
This is one of those topics that people will never agree upon. I am pro-choice. That does not make me pro-murder. That also doesn't make me stupid. I don't believe in abortion as "birth control." But guess what? It's still a woman's right to choose. I do not feel the government has the right to tell us what we can and cannot do with our bodies. I've read everyones arguments, and I realize the backlash I will receive. I don't care. Abortion isn't a decision that most women make lightly (contrary to what some people might believe.) But depending on the circumstances, oftentimes abortion might just be the best choice.
Although you might be right that a lot of women do not take abortion lightly, I do not believe it is the majority in developed nations. For every woman which does not take it lightly, I show you one that considers pregnancy as simply an unfortunate but easily fixable side effect of sex.
I don't know any women that consider a pregnancy an "side effect" of sex that is easily remedied by abortion. I'm not too naive to believe those types of women don't exist, but to say that the vast majority of women just have abortions to "fix" themselves is a bit ludicrous. I know several women close to me as a matter of fact that have had abortions, who made the decision after considering all of the facts and talking with people they trusted to help them come to a conclusion. They had an abortion because they couldn't handle a child for whatever reason at the time, but they didn't have an abortion on a whim.
No disagreement. Nor, have I said "vast majority of women". I didn't define any amount. At best, I implied an equal amount. I have no doubt that this is the case for your neighborhood. In my neighborhood, women discuss when to get pregnant to keep getting food stamps and WIC, or that they have to go get an abortion again...
