I tried installing the able2know seo mod and get this message when i go to click on a forum:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /home/username/public_html/swollenpickles/forum/viewforum.php on line 629

What have I screwed up? You can see the results here:

That usually means there is a missing comma in the template keys. Check the line line 629 of viewforum.php .

Usually when I make a mistake with something such as this I trace my steps back to see what is causing it.

    example:

edit file1.php ftp upload, refresh forum, all is fine, move on.

sometimes you will notice that this method will not work, so if it's not a lot of coding you could just start all over. But the good thing about the error you are talking about is that it mentions the exact file and line number, so there is no guessing.

Why are you using able2know's mod when there is a much better free one available?

Yes sure.. I'm using phpbb-seo mod on my phpBB forum. It's free too. This mod comes in three different versions so choose the one that fits your needs.

    Advanced mod Rewrite: http://www.phpbb-seo.com/boards/phpbb-mod-rewrite/phpbb-seo-advanced-mod-rewrite-vt43.html

    Mixed mod Rewrite: http://www.phpbb-seo.com/boards/phpbb-mod-rewrite/phpbb-seo-mixed-mod-rewrite-vt44.html

    Simple mod-rewrite: http://www.phpbb-seo.com/boards/phpbb-mod-rewrite/phpbb-seo-simple-mod-rewrite-vt45.html

I'm using the mixed one at the moment. If you have able2know mod installed then they have a migration mod available on their forum as well.
