most competitors do badmouth each other...but you have to admit there are some convincing horror stories from ABK software...and some where quote convincing.
here is a general good guideline for social networking/dating software: dont trust the worst reviews - they are written by competitors don't trust the best reviews - they are written by the vendors themselves ;o)
ha! i completely agree. i went through the whole process about a year ago and came to the same conclusion. Unfortunately, it's been a while so I can't remember the details of what I read---I just though there were some convincing 'reasonable' voices on the forums that appeared to be authentic users who were frustrated by the fact that abk was encrypted and very buggy and refused to refune their money...that said, who really knows maybe they were cons working for some competitor-as you see all over these forums. i ended up going with phpfox and have been very happy myself, though I think phpfox is a bit more suited for being a general social networking script..you'd definitely have to customize it to make it suitable for a dating site as requested by the op... who knows maybe ABK is the best!

This company are a bunch of scammers from Russia. They have low-level, half-baked programmers (most of whom are students students wanting to make a fast buck). I owned their script and I simply discarded it because it was totally useless. The script is faulty and causes a lot of errors. I would recommend any of the company on the list you have, but not ABK!
