Looking for someone who knows what/how to use ABBYY Finereader to automatically convert images using either command line parameters when starting up finereader or something similar. Must be able to load/execute finereader and have it automatically convert the images (either specified by command parameters or in a default directory) to text and then close down/or stop running. Make me an offer. P.S: I already know how to launch finereader so it opens up an image by default, but I would like it to open, convert and then save the specified file without any user interaction.

Hi Creztor, were you ever able to run finereader via batch/command line? I'd like to automate some file processing as well, but doesn't look like Abbyy Finereader 11 command/batch supports it out-of-box (it launches the application/UI with the file already in it), but I'd like to have it processed and saved. I know the Corporate edition of Finereader v11 has "Hot Folders", which might be an upgrade from 2010 when you posted your question. Any guidance you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks, M -
