Abandoned sub-$100 Accounts

What happens to the funds in accounts of people who make $0-$10 total in the year they try Adsense and give up on it never to return ?

Do the funds sit in an interest bearing account somewhere indefinately?

Does Google just consider the account abandoned and count the funds as revenue ?

If there is some sort of "default" period, are advertisers refunded all or part of the funds ?

I think I've come across more people in the last few years who have abandoned their accounts with only a few dollars in them than I have people who received at least one check from the Adsense program. I can't hlep but wonder where all that money goes.

I was the first to ask them about it, a few years ago, so they send it all to me.

lmfao :D Thank you for that, I needed a good laugh! :) Are you hoping to cash that money out 30-40 years later?!

I'd think Google would keep it. They wouldn't refund the advertisers, because they got what they paid for; they'd just keep it in their piggybanks.
