1,100 subscribers? blimey, that's a lousey opt-in rate from nearly half a million unique visitors... you might want to work on buffing up your pages somewhat to make the opt-in box more prominent to catch all those visitors.

congrats. Those are pretty impressive numbers.

Very good point from askloz though: why do so few of your visitors subscribe to your blog? Is it a problem of subscribing process or they actually don't care about the content and as you have advertised your blog everywhere, they just go have a look at it and bounce away?

I am not sure why so few visitors subscribe to my blog...

I have a link inviting them to become subscribers after each post, and I have the rss feed icon the first item on the sidebar.

I believe you're best off bribing your vistors with something they want. Many marketers use a free ebook or "special report" they have created. It's just good old- fashioned bribery and corruption.

I improved the invitation to subscribe to my feed after each post.

I'll see how this one performs. :)

any chance you could share with us how much ad revenue you made?? or just give us a rough estimate. Because you should have made a nice bit of money from nearly half a million uniques.

I did not concentrate on making money. I was going to see how well my blog performs! I am satisfied.

I'll try to make some money out of it later, when I get more regular readers!
