We are planning to startup a new dropship business and going list our WHOLESALE ITEMS to our website for our registered users. But the software and it is incredibly difficult to find - I'm beginning to think it doesn't exist Basically, I need a software that will help me setup a site with and ideal for my dropship business -- List all of our products in a 'store' format, but restrict the users to take the high res images and description from our pages. So i think; A normal store listing all our products in normal fashion. Then offer a user area where users can take high res images, & product description. These images are ONLY available for the paid members, who has subscribed to our plans. We want to start this up asap, instead of painting ourself into a corner and desperately needing features that we'd have to hire a freelancer for in a few months. If anyone has any recommendations for such plugin or CMS at WP please talk about it here!
You can do all of that with WordPress. I think your problem is that you are looking for an All In One Solution that does everything out of the box. That doesn't exist. You will have to have it built. If you use something like WordPress, it will be a combination of things that get you the end result that include WordPress, available plug ins (some free, some premium), some design, theme and plug in editing, and HTML.
Are you going to the sell the high res files? I don´t get the point where this is drop shipping instead of a regular digital selling platform.
