Would it not be nice - A world without Google PR. Then we could focus of the real value of a site. Like revenue. I mean, now a site with 0 income but some PR can cost the same as a site that make $30 a month. Crazy, not ?

A world without Google PR might also mean a world without Google :p. Imagine how difficult life would become.

On the contrary, if PR disappears, the link sales will go for a toss and the guys who promote their sites on the basis of page rank and not traffic, will end up ............................. fill in the blanks yourself.

On a positive note you will not see endless threads in the Google forum speculating about page rank and when the next update would happen.

Well Pr has his place definitly the problem is that some (to many) people give very mutch importance to it and forget about the real things that counts Quality Rankings and Content

    Just my opinion

My Emailfriends website just dropped from PR of 5 to 0...but I'm still getting good traffic and it continues to be my top adsense earner.

I can also say the same thing as him .. Whether it is PR 2 or PR 6 , this does not matter , it is only traffic that does

Well, I agree that there'd be less worries if google did not disclose PR to the public but I think it would be a little difficult for use how to judge a site the same way google does.
