A word of caution!

If you surf the internet, you will come across myriads of ways to make money by MLM. But unfortunately , my experience tells me, most of them are scam! They are all after your money! There are so many PTR programs ( Paid to read), which 'they say' are free to join ,free to earn and paid instantly! When you reach the payout minimum, say $5000, you have to send your payout request and you are supposed to get paid 'instantly' to your Paypal account! But when you request your payout, the true colours of these internet swindlers would come out. To your utter shock , you would be asked to upgrade your account to get the payment! Another Email would tell you "Once you upgrade your account paying, say $165, you would get your earning instantly, because according to new rules of the compay, only upgraded members would be paid their earnings instantly, and FREE members have to wait for a long time to get their payment" !!Out of your enthusiasm to get your big online cheque, if you pay them your hard earned money, be prepared to take your next shock, "You lost your money" !My word of caution to all, Particularly, newbies, Is to avoid all the PTR companies, who offer instant payment, like 'Potassium Cyanide' !The big question is ... how to pick and choose the right MLM job from the wast pool on the Internet? There are no hard and fast way! One can make use of Forums like this to get opinion. In a forum there are so many successful people, who by trial and error acheived success! Always remember , success doesn't come overnight! If someone has acheived success, there is pain and perseverance behind it." No matter how dense a fog, the sun is always shining" Cheers

I have never had luck with MLM's, mainly because they are focused on the creator making the money. I prefer Affiliate and CPA Marketing. Quick, Simple, and a Great source of income.

If people who do MLM made money by selling products they would not spend so much time signing other people up. It's all about finding new leads who would pay, let's say, $5 for membership. Definitely something is wrong with that picture.

PTR and MLM are not the same thing. There are legitimate and bad programs of both types. As with anything involving business do your due-diligence first before signing up.

The Internet has so many opporunities and so many people make great livings online, unfortunetly the internet is also full of people wanting to scam you, they hide behind the fact that you can't see them or speak to them face to face. Just be careful who you trust and if buying anything make sure there is a solid refund policy so that you can at least get your money back.
The world has many bad people in it, just surround yourself with as many good people as you can and keep your held held high knowing that you are one of the good ones and have hope that karma exists and these scammers will lead a lonely life and will one day be caught out.
    Regards, Polly.

The internet is one big scam just like the stock market.

Just a medium to take advantage of gullible people.

Well I hope this is a lesson learned for everyone:

You should never pay to be allowed to withdraw your money; sure sign of a scam

    and...

Never leave more than $900 in an account before withdrawing. It creates ALL sorts of troubles for all parties involved to withdraw $1000+ at once. Tax problems, verification problems, accreditation problems, payment processing problems, all of which takes a lot of time.

A tip to get your money out of your accounts more successfully is to withdraw in increments. First at the minimum (it should be $100 or close to that for legitimate sites), then a little higher each time. Withdraw usually at $400 once you've had a few successful withdrawals, it shows you're there to work

The internet, while filled with many great oppertunities to learn, grow, and earn good(and in some cases)incredible profits, there ARE many many scams. Keep in mind that these people are out doing there own internet strategy. Which is to scam you and take your money and add it to theres. The best thing to do if your looking for a good MLM system for making money, or ANY system for earning online, is really just to see the opinions of the public first. Forums like this and others let you ask and see if anyone has had great, good, bad, or horrible experiences. Earning online can be a war, and as cruel as it sounds, use the opinions of your fallen comrades to avoid there mistakes.

Some very good advice here. Yes there are lots of scams about not just in MLM, however as has been said, make sure you do your due dilligence before signing up for any programs.

Some quick pointers in regard to MLM. There must be a great product or service that you would want to use yourself & therefore would have no problems promoting to others & getting paid for it. MLM "opportunities" that promise money for simply signing up other people are SCAMS plain & simple, so stay away.
