I received this email a couple of days ago and am posting it here because I initially gave a positive reveiw of the bulletins a members' service sent out for me. MySpace.com has been under constant attack of a spammer promoting the following image URL: http://xxxxxxxx.com (xx.xxx.xxx.xx) Name Server: NS1.xxxxxxxx.COM (xxx.xxx.xx.xx) MySpace automatically removes spam and other suspicious email shortly after its discovery to prevent viruses, phishing, and other threats to our users. These spam messages are downloaded to flat file (see attached file and sample below). Spam Messages Subject: “xxxxxxxxxxx†Body: “Check-out http://xxxxxxxxxxxx.com xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. <font color='FFFFFF'>8012</font> 2006-04-10 04:58:00†The very large amount of spam was sent from fraudulently created MySpace.com accounts to other MySpace.com user. We understand that these messages did not originate from your site or the sites you host, but we appreciate your due diligence in getting these individuals to cease in their illegal efforts. If this is an affiliate of (http://xxxxxxxxxxxx.com), please take action accordingly and have all illegal activities cease on MySpace.com.
