A well done list of rules. Yes, I think they MUST exist. Then?

I think that creating a solid list of rules to have a better web space, so quality websites and articles etc etc, is a good thing.

If you think about it, these rules are all about common sense and some wisdom in webmastering. The problem is when you have a well done job ruined because something is not working in the mechanics.

I'm sure this will happen rarely in the future and anything will work perfectly. But right now, and today, what are your experiences?
