Hey everyone! So here's the deal: I live in Portugal and I go to college, it's actually pretty expensive, even thought what my parents give me is enough for my survival (I don't have extra-money even to go out at night once a month). So I want to make some pocket money from the internet, but I have no clue were to actually start. The time I have is quite limited because of the studies, but I do have a half-hour/hour everyday that I spend on the internet doing basicly nothing. I would like to know if you guys have any tips you can give me, I would indeed apriciate it. I already have thought of a few things like a blog, but I don't know how to promote it or what to write about.
A sort of personal blog would do okay, with just stating your opinions about things. (Check the link in my sig) It won't be a significant amount of money, though. You could try doing some quick article writing jobs.
I'm already running a personal blog, the problem with that is that Portugal is so small that if I won't actually get much from that, I was aiming to something on a international scale (in english of course). But thanks for the ideas thought.
My blog could be categorized as a personal blog, and I'm from the US, yet most of my readers come from India. I was trying to aim at US people, too, so that's kinda weird.

Put a link to it in your sig here, also put the RSS feed, int the recent blog field in your user CP. Doing this gained a lot of traffic for me. Also, if you have Wordpress Google "wordpress ping list", and add the list of services to you ping list.
When you can post in the BST forums, it might be a good idea to offer some article writing services or something. If you can design or code, you can offer those services too. You can also head down to places like getafreelancer.com or rentacoder.com and get a free account (they outsource jobs). You probably won't get paid very much but considering your financial situation, it just might be what you're looking for. The money you earn from these jobs can then be invested in bigger ventures.

Ramphix, nobody would have sex with me for cash and I think my gf wouldn't like it. =p About the freelance site, I did try one, none of those are the ones you listed, techman, and I never couldn't win. Now the question is this: And if my parents would loan me some money for some kind of start-up project?
Sam, thanks for the offer! But I don't know yet how much I need, I just want to start something that would give me long term (that is, until I finish my education) cash for some extra-spendings like getting a beer with my buddies, going to a concert or just to go to see a movie.
