When your paypal account is limited, you cannot do anything for the funds, but one thing u can do is - Refund Payment.

So if u have $500 in balance ask your friend to send you some $500 (Now u have $1000) and send him $500 again. Now you are back to $500. Now ur account got limited? Don;t worry. Within 60 days period u can make refunds. Go to the details when ur friend sent u $500, click refund payment, and ur friend will get $500. Now your balance is $0. Wow! Your limited account funds are atleast escaped. Open a new paypal account and ask ur friend to send $500. Or get $500 from him/her directly.

Thus one can recover funds from a limited account. Just make sure u get and send dummy payments for a significant amount every 60 days!

If u have only $250 balance in ur limited account. You can also do partial refunds!

    Best of Luck.

No one worries whether ur paypal will get limited henceforth. Thanks to my BRAIN for this BRILLIANT idea!!!!

    Nice Idea,
So now your not facing any problems?
It is possible for Paypal to track your new account and your old records can show up :) Have you given it a thought?
I would recommend not closing the old account and try to solve it and clear up everything.
But Great Idea, atleast we can get our funds back :)

    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Kulwinder.

Its too risky as your trail can be tracked and you might be in a bigger trouble..

Rather attempt to get the issue resolved that resulted in limiting your paypal account

Actually once your account is limited, you cannot send anyone any money in the first place. It will just accumulate and accumulate until you can provide a faxed paper statement of that VCC which you used. Apparently, it would be impossible since VCC are not real payment instruments and you do not get the statement. So you put yourself in a Catch-22 situation, apart from digging a bigger hole for you and your friends.

If Paypal brands the account as money laundering, both you and your friends accounts may be suspect and everyone becomes the fool in the end.

There are no fees for refunding, and his friend will receive the exact amount he sent, so there will be fees for one transaction (Last one)

There are definitely no fees for refunding, $500 someone sends you, you refund the very same $500 to that someone, I'm not sure if you can send (not refund) with a limited account someone additional $500, as that additional money is not the payment you recieved and where you have option to click and send it back.

After reading the above post a thought just came to my account which can prove that your method is not correct for limited accounts :).
How the heck on earth you are able to send money with a limited account? Answers?
