hey. i'm new to this kind of online earnings and have a couple of questions about it.
    1) Do you choose ads for your website manually or does it put automatically depending on your keywords? are ads constantly changing or they cahnge when you change your key words?
    2) Can you control the amount of ads boxes on your website and how?
3)Can you choose ads with high cost per click?
    i'll really appreciate your replies.

1-You cannot choose ads, they just appear the more relevant as possible to your keywords i guess
2- You can put 3 ads units
    3- I wish! :D

Jaroboy is on the money. But I would like to add to point 3. It is best to not concern yourself with the value of clicks, there are so many things that affect the cost per click. Plus to get the high paying ads you would be making a site based on a topic that you have no interest in. It is far better to make a site about something you enjoy or know about then add the ads.

Also if you have a site about (for example) "personality tests" which has low paying keywords, and you edit your sites content to attract ads about "iPods" (which have higher paying keywords) you will prob see a drop in income as your visitors are on your site to learn about personality tests and will not click on ads for iPods as much.

if its a corporate site ..etc., ad's would look way too bad. .. .Some commercial sites use adsense. depends on how important the visitor is to you!

Eg: Times of India site... uses Adsense quite a lot.

    ...NO.

From my experience doing HotelClub affiliate and AdSense, I didn't get any sales commissions and my AdSense income noticeably dropped. Got a number of clicks for the affiliate but only get paid for hotel purchases, which was quite hard. So it's a lose-lose situation for both.

    Just my $0.02 eCPM.

I guess it depends on your business, but definitely, it can affect your commercial site. Some sites report lower customer conversion rates after they introduce the ads. Last, you may not open the links in a new windows, that is against Adsense policies.

thanks a lot. that really helped.
and where can you see which topics are with the highest payout?or may be someone will write just a couple of them here.
    2) and if my site with low cost PPC content and i changed the keywords to the high cost PPC content and the keywords are tottally different form a website content...i guess it's a cheating, isn't it?

That is somewhat called cloacking, and if you do this, u'll end up with a banned site from google, probably.

Well, Google mostly figures out your keywords from your content, not your MetaTags, so if you want to change your topic, change your topic. You will suffer in terms of natural SEO, though, if you don't really change the whole site to reflect the new topic.
