I figured this out a while ago when trying to figure out how companies like Google end up with such concise, catchy and powerful names. Obviously the resonance comes later, once that brand and service becomes a big and valuable entity, with an image... but the names are often still initially very catchy. I'm sure this method isn't that common but it's something I thought-up... Basically, figure out what your brand or service does or is about, think of a word or two which absolutely epitomizes what you're offering, THEN... translate that word or phrase into Latin. Test this out with different words and phrases, you'll find that the Latin translation can often sound like a post-modern, catchy brand name and it condenses a lot of meaning into shorter words. Perfect for domain names and memorable titles.
