    Let's take this situation.

    You write an article.
    A big news source see your article and write about it, and at the end you get a link [ Via - Your Website ].
    Other blogs that read the big news source link to that story.

    Now who will be shown first in the search engines ?

    My article that has only one link pointing to it, or the news article that has let's say 30 links pointing to it ?
