A technique to get approval from almost any advertiser on CJ !

Hi,

I have been using this method for a while to get approval from virtually any advertiser on CJ.

If they decline you, then just email them that you are interested in promoting their program. This shows your seriousness and you will get approved.

This is true. I have had a few cases where I was declined so I contacted the advertisers directly and they went ahead and approved me. When I emailed them I told them why their products would be a good fit for my site and asked them to reconsider.

i wonder why those idiot advertisers just block people based on country..they are loosing so many potential leads and sales. A guy in australia might have a great site focused on USA, but these guys just reject him since he is in austrlia..

For me, this is the single most frustrating thing about CJ. And it's the reason why I work with other affiliate programs. I'm so tired of waiting for "approval" that never happens. Or these automatic rejections.

 

Yes, I have had that work for me too after being rejected.

And it is frustrating so I much prefer to just use a merchant on shareasale where many of them autoapprove you and you can see which ones will so there is no waiting around for weeks on end.

Interesting... might try it.. but the only CJ program that's rejected me it their own program for referring other advertisers...

This technique also works for automatic rejections.

Send them a mail and they will give you the approval. It will appear in Pending Approvals, you have to click and accept their offer. I am in india and I have got many times approved by auto decliners!

Good that I found someone from India. I am a travel writer. I have my own blog which I want to use to do affiliate marketing. I was declined from certain vendors on CJ.
I tried to email them but I do not find their emails on their details page.
How did you go about in such a situation?

Some people are saying that CJ often declines requests because we are outside of US and UK. Did you manage to get approvals from such advertisers? If yes, how?

I was declined immediately by Geico insurance for their affiliate program. I sent them an email right away. I have not heard back from them yet but it has only been a couple days. Why do these companies decline automatically? is it based on unique visitors or the age of your site? Also can somone discuss what CJ program are working well for them as well as some strategies that have worked to generate that all important first sale.

 

I am facing the same issue with auto declines and no reasons as to why it was declined. If we had reasons, at least we could work on them to fix them.
I also want if someone on this forum could start a well directed conversation guiding us to get approvals from advertisers.
