A strange affiliate that sends lots of traffic to my site.

According to Google analytics, I have an affiliate that sends tons of traffic to my Clickbank site via hoplink. This particular affiliate is sending almost 300 visitors a day.... and this has been going on every day for nearly a month now. BUT.... this affiliate has never made a sale.

Other affiliates make sales when they send only a few visitors to my site.

I can't track exactly where the people are coming from. Under top referring sites, Google says one of the top places people are coming from is "page2ad.googlesyndication.com." Perhaps this has something to do with the affiliate? *shrug*

What's going on? Obviously the people coming to my site are not interested in buying the book. But how is this affiliate getting all these people to my page? Any ideas?

Your Affiliate is probably using "placement-targeted" Adwords ads. This way he place his hoplink to only website (From Google Content Network) that he selects.

While this can be a very good method of advertising if done right, if its done the wrong way by selecting website that are not targeted enough, thers no way he can make any sale.
