Here's a story to inspire some of us (or make us incredibly envious): A student, 21 years old, just won the "Entrepreneur of the Year" award for www.metrolyrics.com. The site is one of the top visited music properties on the internet (all the lyrics on the site are legally licensed). You can read more here: http://ventureconnection.sfu.ca/inde...preneur_award/ The rumor is that he makes around $1million a year from the site- supported by the Landrover, Corvette, and Porsche he can be seen driving. This person is a member of site point forums and if you go back through some of his previous posts (stalker anyone?) it's interesting to see his progression from a site just starting up to a site now making a lot of money. Hopefully this is motivation for some of us wannabe web-millionaires out there.
Just shows what can be done with a good idea and persistence! Also glad to see someone 'like us' making it big
