I knew the story was trying to prove something, common sense would of told you that in less than a second. I guess for some people a whole video is needed.
Any of these major catastrophic events you mentioned does not surprise or threaten faithful Christians. They have to happen. "Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away." "But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately." Then He said to them, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven." Luke 24: "And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." This one above is very direct and as you all know, the times of Gentiles are not over yet.
The only reason you can't disprove God is pretty simple. When you have nothing and you try to aproach it from a logical angle and measure it, it's pretty hard to measure nothing! I'm guessing you've never tried, nevermind. But when people continue to persist that this nothingness exists then the witch hunt will always continue. I work of pretty simple principles that don't need a book for explaining, you can fit it on a bar mat! If there is no proof, if you can’t measure it or there is no mathematical formula; it just doesn’t exist.
Which brings us back to Russell's Teapot: If I were to suggest that between the Earth and Mars there is a china teapot revolving about the sun in an elliptical orbit, nobody would be able to disprove my assertion provided I were careful to add that the teapot is too small to be revealed even by our most powerful telescopes. But if I were to go on to say that, since my assertion cannot be disproved, it is an intolerable presumption on the part of human reason to doubt it, I should rightly be thought to be talking nonsense. If, however, the existence of such a teapot were affirmed in ancient books, taught as the sacred truth every Sunday, and instilled into the minds of children at school, hesitation to believe in its existence would become a mark of eccentricity and entitle the doubter to the attentions of the psychiatrist in an enlightened age or of the Inquisitor in an earlier time.
okay, not the 'VIDEO' per se...but the concept. I wish I could do the same to you one day ... what he (customer) did to the barber
That is alright. But who are we to prove the existence God? We do not even fully understand how our body and brain works. See, the problem is when you start applying human scientific principles on factors way beyond them. These scientific and mathematical principles were made to proof things around us to an extent. God does not have beginning or an end. He created the universe literary from nothing. You will be probably wondering what makes faithful Christians so sure about their religion and the existence of God? Two things. One is the God given holy spirit which acts as a guidance and allows us to understand; the other is all the evidence that surrounds us today such as miracles, super phenomenal experiences and the existence of the spiritual world. God wants us to make the effort to believe in him and reach out to him, rather than prove him. In fact, I guarantee you that if you do pray with a faithful heart and reach out to "this God", then you will get an answer in one way or another.
That's a form of Argument from Ignorance. Most people don't understand how light switches work; that does mean that light switches require some sort of supernatural explanation.
If god did exist, then understanding his existence would not be a prerequisite for his existence. As he doesn't exist, it is impossible to understand his existence.
This is the point. You have lost control over mind following that rotten book. Do you know, at least, what you and muhammad have been worshiping? Why do your mullas hide what actually is the kaaba and why muslims go round that round black stone wanting to touch it? Who are you to prove that it isn't Shiva, the creator of this world? If you have some truth left in you, tell us openly what the round gold dish inscription hung from Kaaba says?
lolzzzz!! not first time by Alevoor, some people actually not read the entire post, let me ans him If you really want to learn about it, then watch the video and BTW, when Muslim touch that black stone, they speak loudly, "Oh Stone of Kaba, I am Kissing you because Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did, other wise you can not give me any benefit nor take any thing from me.. You are just a stone"
That's some explanation? eh... I asked the why of the point. because mohammad or some other nut did it isn't logic enough. The point is why you all are using kaba as a reference point (if you aren't worshiping it) when it's a Shiva temple? Why are you hiding the truth? Afraid that your cronies might behead you for speaking truth if, by any chance, you know what it is? Who are you to prove that it isn't Shiva, the creator of this world? If you have some truth left in you, tell us openly what the round gold dish inscription hung from Kaaba says? The mosque around Kaaba holds 300,000 shit heads and there will be more waiting outside for their turn after these nuts are done with kissing the same spot. hyuk ...
