A Step 4 The Better?

    I am thinking of buying a domain for my directory so instead of it being dir.site.com it will be dir.com, im gonna place a link to the new domain asap so it can get indexed etc, and then 301 redirect.

    do you think that this will be a step 4 the better? will the directory be better listed in this world etc?

    I can't see it making much difference unless you get a really good domain name, though it would make it easier to sell the directory if you ever wanted to.

    the domain is gonna be something like "myteenlinks.wotever"
