A solution to e-gold login problems...

I have problems logging in into e-gold, each time there is some problem of Unable to login to account.

Access denied

The IP you are using to access the e-gold website (x) appears to be either an open proxy or otherwise exploited. You will not be permitted to access e-gold services from this IP while this condition continues.

Please help to to find a solution for this problem. And if i want to use proxies, how can I do that? I never used proxies before...

Your IP is blacklisted from your account or using e-gold website.

Best way to resolve it is to get a Static IP. Your IP is Dynamic and one can use it for making proxy as well.

I have a same problem but i don't find anything proxy good to access egold so I use paypal now

I also got the problems sometime , but i logged of and logged on again (reconnecting isp client) solve this problem , if you still got problem then use anonymous proxy or hideip. like http://www.proxy.org

Thats mainly because MOST ISPs provide Dynamic IPs and not static. So, it probably solves after you connect again and again and get a good(whitelisted) IP.

I thought proxy is not allowed? How come regular IP is blacklisted and proxy isn't?

 

Proxy IPs arent permanent. Most IPs are dynamic, so randomly assigned to one user a day and other day to different user. So, random problem...

 

Once you're able to log in again, you can go into your account settings and disable the IP checking -- then it won't lock you out anymore based on your IP address. (e-gold warns you that this is less secure, of course. It's up to you whether it's worth the extra risk, which IMO is pretty small.)

 

It worked for me too,Just 1 question is there any risk of using these proxies for e-gold account login.

 

Using a proxy is always risky, no matter what proxy you're using. Know that EVERYTHING you do using a proxy can be (I'm not saying will be) logged by the proxy owner.

owwh.. i'm using proxies but e-gold seems to say that "im not allowed to enter the site because i'm using an Open Proxie.."

When e-gold detects that a lot of accounts are being logged into by a single IP address, I guess it concludes that it's a proxy, and thus deny access.
