    Hi,
I signed up for this forum today, but I'm probably going to keep my mouth shut and learn for a little while.

I have been selling on Ebay for a while under the ID Lullaby*Lake. I make my own auction templates, and host my own pics. Everyone in my small hometown thinks I'm so computer savy.

So, after much prodding from friends and family, I started a blog @ www.contentedhousewife.blogspot.com. I also added to my Ebay blog, and started a mySpace account.

Then I found out that I have NO IDEA what I'm doing with CSS stuff.

So, I got two books on CSS this week, and I'm flying by the seat of my pants for now. I hope to learn a lot from you pros.

If I ask a question, I hope they're not too stupid.

Hope everyone here has a great day!

Stephen, I know where Deland is, I even know where Paisley is! My grandmother used to have a little place on a lake in Paisley.
I'm actually in the middle of nowhere half way between Hawthorne and Palatka on SR 20, but that's too confusing to explain.

    I'm in a love/hate relationship w/Ebay. I haven't really put the time into it that I should.
When I'm getting rid of clutter in my house, and not considering profit, I tell everyone it's great. But the reality of it is that I have never made any on paper profit. I have had some memorable transactions, but every time I make a little, I "reinvest" in someone else's items.
I find that it takes too long to take pictures, pack items, write descriptions, go to the post office, etc. to sell things on Ebay. When I really sit and count it all up... I prefer not to do that. And, I don't really have an Ebay room in my house. Where am I supposed to keep inventory, packing materials, boxes, and lighting set ups for photography?
That being said, it's an addiction. I can't walk away. It's a little like gambling I think. There have been those transactions that I'll never forget, and they keep me coming back.

    diam,
You have higher feedback than I do on Ebay. I'm not even up to 500 yet.

CSS is a total pain to learn, but once you 'get it', it all starts flowing and making sense. I still hate it though :)

    Welcome to DP!
